We understand that sometimes it is more convenient for members to take advantage of a Y near their workplace or when they are traveling outside the area of their home Y.
With Nationwide Membership, members have the flexibility to use participating Y facilities throughout the United States at no extra charge. Nationwide Membership At the Y, we are for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. There are more than 2, YMCAs in 10, communities across the nation. Nationwide Membership is a member benefit allowing all members within the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas to visit participating Associations without paying an extra fee.
Members of any participating YMCA may also visit our branches when they are away from home. You will pay your dues at your Home Y only, regardless of how many different Associations you visit. You will sign a waiver to use their location. This waiver is required for you to be granted access in other Ys, and only needs to be completed once.
You will pay member rates within our home Association. At all participating Ys outside our Association, you will pay their non-member or program member price. My Y charges members for amenities like ChildWatch, lockers, towels, water, etc.
If you are a current member and know you are heading out of town, feel free to stop by our Membership Director's office and sign the waiver. Then you are all set to enjoy the benefits of nationwide membership! Some restrictions may apply or vary among the participating Ys, so we recommend you call ahead prior to your visit.
