Because people aren't helping each other like in the old days, everybody is greedy, everybody just thinks about themselves, Well not everyone but I mean most of the people these days.

And I heard a rumor that somebody got shot for greening their friend. All of this over toontown. This insanity over something as dumb as toontown.

Nothing like new HQs or Neighbourhood to my knowledge. I could go on listing reasons but I won't because it sounds like I am criticising the developers which is for sure not my intention.
The purpose of this is to get you thinking about possibly emailing or sending letters to Disney Interactive. Maybe organising something to help us encourage Disney to make another TT someday soon if one isn't in development currently. Thanks for reading. I just want to state on more time that I do not want to have this sound like I hate TTR or the developers. I appreciate everything they are doing.

I wouldn't be surprised if a new playground is developed. Look alright, I'd think a new Toontown would be much better than TTR, but that's not a possibility at this point. What do you expect people to do, beg for something that's extremely unlikely to happen, or move on to something that has a great chance of happening?
Spike Wildtoon. The problem with a big company like Disney owning a game, is that they are just for the money. They will do everything to make more money. That is how companies work. However, a community project like this, all of our voices are heard. Once TTR was announced, we were so happy. Ever since the TTR suggestion thread was made, it's gotten hundred's of posts. Disney or any other company would've never listened. The cool thing about a fan made project, is that we understand each other.
The people that are making the game know how annoying the bugs where. They know what we are feeling. The Toontown Rewritten team proved that Disney was horrible with keeping this game going; how the code was messy and horrible, how easy it was the fix the bugs that Disney never bothered to fix, etc. I personally feel safer that the game is now in the hands of someone who actually cares, and understands the problems. Maybe the game isn't official, but who cares? A big company doesn't have to own something for it to be good.
Anyone can do it! About the part where we gave up. I think that we did stop fighting for the original Toontown. I understand what you mean but would you really think a big company would listen to a couple people?

Some players enjoy playing multiple Toons at once, which is completely fine as long as the programs provide no advantage nor alter the game in any way. Typically, these programs do not touch Toontown and rather just map keyboard controls for two separate game windows.
